⚠️ During the cleaning process, existing pool paint may peel or chip. This is normal for older or weakened paint surfaces.
To best clean the pool while reducing surface damage, we use:
✔ Low-pressure powerwashing
✔ Acid washing
Please note that deteriorating paint, previous poor paint applications, age, winter damage, or existing surface wear may still cause peeling during cleaning.
If your pool requires repainting after the opening, let us know — we also offer full pool painting services.
Visit 1 — Drain & Clean
During the first visit, our team will:
- Remove the winter cover & leave of to dry
- Fully Drain the pool
- Remove all debris
- Powerwash the pool with low PSI
- Acid Wash the Pool
We use low pressure to clean the paint & surface as safely as possible without damaging it.
Some stains may remain after Visit 1. These are either rust or usually clear once chlorine is added and the pool is circulating.
Technicians take reports with pictures of your pool & equipment.
After Visit 1 — Client Step Required
After we leave, you must refill the pool to 3/4 up the skimmer.
Then, email:
to schedule Visit 2.
We strongly recommend emailing us immediately. If the pool sits too long without circulation or chlorine, the water may turn green.
Visit 2 — Equipment Startup
During the second visit, our technician will:
- Connect pool equipment
- Start the system
- Add Salt
Chemicals are not included by default.
No cleaning or leaf removal during Visit 2. All cleaning is completed during Visit 1.
Equipment Must Be Ready
Before Visit 2, your equipment must be ready and accessible:
- Pool pump

If our technician arrives and the equipment is not accessible, missing parts, leaking, damaged, or unable to start properly, additional service or travel charges may apply.

Pools that are excessively dirty, muddy, swamp-like, contain large debris buildup, or are beyond normal opening conditions may be subject to additional charges, re-quoting, or service cancellation at our discretion.
